Round-up from Maison & Object Paris 5-9 Sept 2014

We took the Eurostar down to Paris for a day of design extravaganza!
Here our impressions from our visit:

The crowd arrives from the direct train from the Gare du Nord to the Parc des Expositions

There are 8 very large halls - where to start?

Hall 8 - the coolest of them all!

Signage on the floor: just follow the arrows...

First stop: Rform by Randy Feys from Belgium - simple, stylish plywood furniture.

Copper is still very much 'in'!

As well as all shades of turquoise - lamps....

...ceramics - by Bleu d'argile...

...and accessories. Here by applicata, a Danish company.

More colours that we saw everywhere are fluorescent orange and pink.

Here at the Tom Dixon stand. He also still shows a lot of copper.
